Is this thing on?

Just a little update, in case anyone stumbles across this. I never did fix the crater in the paint mentioned in the last post. I did become a bicycle commuter, and loved it. A year ago, everyone gave me upgraded bicycle parts for Christmas. Last summer, I rode from Seattle to Portland, some 200 miles. The ride went really well, but I've had some knee problems since, so I haven't been riding much lately. One of these years I may have to pass this bicycle on to my wife and get one that's actually designed to fit someone my height.
